440 BIG BAND SAX is one of the most representative groups on the current jazz music scene in terms of its formation. It is based on the structure of the traditional big band, but including only saxophones in its horns. His repertoire covers practically the entire history of Jazz, from its beginnings to the most current. Without forgetting the standarts and the most representative themes of this genre.

Its director and soloist Alfredo Carlavilla guides the Big Band in order to spread swing and jazz music with the complete sounds of the saxophone family: soprano saxophone, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone and bass saxophone. Like all Big Band, it is accompanied in its concerts by piano, bass and drums; completing the training with one of the most important guest voices in the current scene.

We believe that music must be appreciated with all possible senses so that it reaches and connects better with the public, so the staging includes videos and images that always match the music performed; doing a brief review on all topics.
